EXORPHIA to Make Its Debut at JHVS2025 Showcasing Its Drug Development Pipeline

EXORPHIA's Exciting Debut at JHVS2025

EXORPHIA, a pioneering biotechnology venture headquartered in Tokyo, is set to make its inaugural appearance at the Japan Healthcare Venture Summit 2025 (JHVS2025). This event is organized by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and will take place from October 8 to 10, 2025, at Pacifico Yokohama. JHVS2025 aims to facilitate networking and collaboration between domestic and international pharmaceutical companies and investors, running concurrently with BioJapan, Regenerative Medicine JAPAN, and healthTECH JAPAN 2025.

As a bioventure focusing on drug development through the utilization of extracellular vesicles (EVs), EXORPHIA is leveraging its unique EV platform technology to advance three main development programs:

1. EXP01 (Anti-inflammatory and Anti-fibrotic Drug): This program targets pulmonary damage and atopic dermatitis with an MSC-EV drug candidate. EXORPHIA has confirmed anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects in animal models and has already completed a Pre-IND consultation with the U.S. FDA, marking a significant milestone in its development.

2. EXP03 (EV Vaccine Platform): Utilizing patented EV engineering technology in the U.S. and Japan, this intranasal vaccine candidate is designed to induce immunity against multiple infections, including influenza and COVID-19, with reduced side effects. The company is also exploring expansion into next-generation drug delivery systems (DDS).

3. EXP02 (IVF Additive): This program aims to enhance blastocyst formation rates in in vitro fertilization processes. It has been selected for a NEDO project, and EXORPHIA has established a clinical research framework in collaboration with universities to expedite commercialization.

During the event, EXORPHIA will showcase its innovative drug pipeline and foundational technology at Booth VC-93. Additionally, the company will participate in the JHVS Showcase, where it will pitch its projects.
