United Breast Cancer Foundation Celebrates 25 Years with NYC Billboard Launch

United Breast Cancer Foundation Unveils 3-Tiered Digital Billboard in Times Square

The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) has proudly launched a spectacular three-tiered digital billboard located in the heart of New York City's Times Square. This remarkable display commemorates UBCF's 25th anniversary and serves as a crucial platform to share its mission of positively impacting the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

The billboard, which was unveiled in October 2025, will remain active through December 31, 2025, during one of the busiest times of the year. Situated at the intersection of 42nd Street and 7th Avenue, this digital marvel is strategically positioned to face westbound traffic on 42nd Street and lies directly adjacent to one of the entrances to the Times Square–42nd Street subway station. As the busiest station in the MTA system, it sees a staggering 250,000 pedestrians daily, making it an ideal location for raising awareness.

Running 15-second spots 20 times an hour, the billboard showcases UBCF's bold logo commemorating its 25 years of service, paired with vital educational messages such as, "1 in 8 women are diagnosed" and "early detection saves lives." The unique feature of this billboard is a QR code that directs viewers to UBCF's official website, providing access to invaluable resources while encouraging engagement and support for their ongoing efforts through donations.

With over 10 million visitors each month, Times Square is recognized as one of the most visited locations globally. The holiday season, in particular, witnesses a notable uptick in foot traffic, presenting UBCF with a rare opportunity to connect with millions from around the world.

Stephanie Mastroianni, the President and Executive Director of UBCF, expressed the significance of this campaign, stating, "This campaign is a proud reflection of United Breast Cancer Foundation's 25 years of service and impact. Over the past two and a half decades, UBCF has supported countless individuals and families across the country with compassion, care, and critical resources. This milestone marks not just our history, but our ongoing commitment to provide hope and support to those who need it most."

Founded in 2000, the United Breast Cancer Foundation is dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. UBCF is committed to providing practical support through helpful and supportive donations, offering financial grants to individuals in need, and funding breast health and wellness services that encompass education, screening, treatment, recovery, and overall wellness.

Recognized as a platinum rated, 4-star charity, UBCF offers a range of life-supporting programs aimed at patients and families across the nation. Tax-deductible contributions can be made towards UBCF's mission and programs, and they accept donations through Donor Advised Funds, as well as vehicle and property donations. As UBCF celebrates this significant anniversary, the impact of their work can be seen in the lives they touch and the awareness they raise across communities. The dynamic digital billboard in Times Square serves as not only a celebration of their achievements but as a reminder of the importance of early detection and support in the fight against breast cancer.
