This initiative will extend across the entire Cleveland Designated Market Area (DMA), which encompasses 20 counties, ensuring that every high school in the region benefits from enhanced reporting capabilities throughout the 2026-27 academic year.

DistrictWON’s platform, uReport, is designed to foster community engagement by allowing students, schools, and local organizations to create and share stories, highlights, and updates from various sports and activities. By providing fully-funded access to every high school in the DMA, DistrictWON aims to bring back the local sports coverage that has been missing for quite some time. This effort was made possible thanks to endorsements from significant organizations in the sports administration sector, including the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and College Sports Communicators, which represent over 17,000 high schools and colleges across the nation.

Peter Fitzpatrick, CEO of DistrictWON, emphasizes the need for this coverage, stating, “Cleveland’s most important activities have long been forgotten. You might see coverage of high-level football games, but what about girls' sports? The junior varsity teams?
