KAI Company Shines at Boston Career Forum 2025

KAI Corporation, a global leader in knife manufacturing based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, participated in the Boston Career Forum 2025, held from November 21 to 23 at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center.

The primary goal of their participation was to attract talent with international experience who can approach problems from fresh perspectives. Additionally, they aimed to promote the spirit of craftsmanship and the ambitious mindset inherent in the KAI brand.

About the Boston Career Forum

The Boston Career Forum is one of the world’s largest employment and job changing events for bilingual students, particularly those studying at overseas universities. It targets students who possess Japanese and English language skills and who may have experience studying abroad. The forum not only hosts company presentations but also facilitates live interviews where candidates can potentially receive job offers. Approximately 9,346 students attended this year’s event.

KAI's booth attracted many students, and during the event, they conducted initial interviews with attendees as well as executive interviews with candidates who had progressed through online selection.

At the KAI booth, participants had the chance to engage in hands-on experiences with various products. They tested the sharpness of fabric scissors made with felt, experienced nail clippers through the use of nail tips, and faced the assembly of paper razors. These activities were designed to showcase KAI's wide range of products while effectively communicating the appeal of contributing to a global company.

Feedback from participating students was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed their newfound appreciation for Japan’s high level of technical ability. Some noted, “Honestly, I wasn’t aware of KAI before, but after experiencing the sharpness firsthand, I want to pursue opportunities with KAI due to their remarkable technology.”
