On June 18-19, 2025, the World Dairy Congress took place in Amsterdam, where the dairy industry converged to celebrate innovations and discuss future directions. Amidst a myriad of discussions and presentations, the Yili Group stood out by securing an impressive four global awards for dairy innovation, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to enhance the dairy industry.

Among them, the Zhenlao cream from Yijiahao cheese was awarded for best artisanal product, while the Joyday Choco Lava ice cream clinched the title for best ice cream. Furthermore, Yili’s patented multi-enzyme technology that transforms lactose into galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) in the Qinghuo adult milk powder was recognized as the best innovation for food intolerances. To add to their accolades, the Satine low-carbon organic milk received the best CSR initiative and sustainability award.

Carolien van Loo, head of Yili's innovation center in Europe, participated in a vital panel discussion concerning maternal and infant nutrition and breast milk research. This was a significant topic as multiple star products from Yili's Pro-Kido, its leading infant formula brand, were showcased at the congress. In this forum, experts exchanged insights on breast milk nutrition, highlighting Yili's collaborative research efforts with institutions like Wageningen University and the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour in the field of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). Their promising discoveries underline the health benefits of HMOs which improve immunity, protect intestinal barrier functions, and enhance cognitive development for infants.
