Gabriel Love Foundation Announces Scholarship Honoring Elias Gabriel's Legacy in Fine Jewelry Education
Gabriel Love Foundation Unveils Scholarship
On July 1, 2025, Gabriel & Co., celebrated for its exquisite bridal and fashion fine jewelry, proudly announced the establishment of the GIA Gabriel Love Foundation Scholarship in memory of the late Elias Gabriel. The momentous announcement took place during the Luxury at JCK event held in the elegant ballroom of Gabriel & Co., where notable figures from both Gabriel & Co. and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) gathered.
The scholarship, envisioned by co-founders Jack and Dominick Gabriel, serves as a tribute to their late father, Elias Gabriel, whose legacy of purposeful craftsmanship and community service continues to resonate within the company’s mission. Jack Gabriel remarked, "We are honored to preserve our father's legacy through this scholarship." He highlighted how Elias Gabriel embodied values such as integrity, excellence, and compassion. According to Jack, their fine jewelry must reflect authentic artistry while also serving communities in need. Hence, the scholarship symbolizes an extension of these foundational principles.
Cathryn Ramirez, Senior Vice President and Chief Learning Officer of GIA, expressed her support for the scholarship, stating, "Empowering the next generation of gem and jewelry professionals is a vital responsibility for everyone in our industry. The generous initiative by Gabriel & Co. in memory of Elias Gabriel will genuinely make a significant impact by providing a deserving student with the foundational start they need."
