Regal Rexnord Corporation Welcomes Aamir Paul as New CEO
In a significant move aimed at positioning Regal Rexnord Corporation for future growth, the company's Board of Directors has officially appointed Aamir Paul as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The announcement was made on April 22, 2026, with Mr. Paul's term slated to begin no later than July 1, 2026, as he transitions from his current role at Schneider Electric SE.
Mr. Aamir Paul, who is 48 years old, brings a wealth of experience across various sectors, having held notable leadership positions in both sales and operations. His most recent achievement was as President of North America at Schneider Electric, where he played a pivotal role in driving double-digit growth for the company through 2025, leading to significant revenue increases exceeding $17 billion across over 43,000 employees and 35 manufacturing facilities.
The Board's decision to appoint Mr. Paul follows an extensive search for a successor to current CEO Louis Pinkham, who will remain at the helm until Mr. Paul's official start date. At that point, Mr. Paul will also join the Board of Directors, marking a seamless leadership transition as Mr. Pinkham steps down from the Board on his last day as CEO.
Rakesh Sachdev, Non-Executive Chairman of Regal Rexnord's Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Mr. Paul's capabilities. “After a comprehensive search, we concluded that Aamir is an exceptional leader well-prepared to guide Regal Rexnord through its next phase of growth,” he stated. Mr. Sachdev highlighted Mr. Paul's proven track record in nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and driving growth in complex global operations. In particular, his experience in areas key to Regal Rexnord’s future, such as energy efficiency and sustainability, is seen as crucial for creating lasting value.
Mr. Paul shared his enthusiasm for leading Regal Rexnord, stating, “I have become increasingly excited about the tremendous growth potential of the Company’s portfolio, its unique scale and scope, and its market-leading technologies.” He emphasized his commitment to harnessing Regal's operational philosophy to enhance efficiency and create value for customers, employees, and shareholders alike.
Before joining Schneider Electric in 2013, Mr. Paul dedicated over 13 years to Dell Technologies, where he ascended through various sales roles to become SVP of Global Server Solutions Sales. He will be expected to leverage his extensive skills and industry knowledge to steer Regal Rexnord towards new horizons.
Educationally, Mr. Paul holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Northwestern University and has completed advanced management studies at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and INSEAD.
In his current roles, he serves on the boards of several organizations, including USG Corporation and the National Association of Manufacturers. His active involvement in civic and industry leadership reflects his commitment to not just corporate success, but also broader industry advancement.
As Regal Rexnord prepares for Mr. Paul’s leadership, the company continues to express gratitude to Louis Pinkham for his contributions and leadership that have strengthened the company during his tenure. Pinkham’s legacy includes a fortified company value system and a robust talent pool that positions Regal Rexnord favorably for future achievements.
The company plans to provide further updates regarding the leadership transition during its upcoming first-quarter earnings conference call scheduled for May 7, 2026.
