Key Highlights from the Event

In his opening remarks, Foxconn's Chairman Young Liu emphasized the company’s competitive edge grounded in its vertical integration capabilities. Liu stated, "Our depth in technology and our manufacturing tradition enable us to collaborate closely with leading tech companies, providing them with the confidence that Foxconn can bring ideas to reality swiftly and reliably on a large scale. This positions us well as we venture into future technologies made possible by AI and quantum computing."

One of the significant announcements included a partnership with OpenAI, as echoed by CEO Sam Altman in a video message. Altman highlighted the soaring demand for critical components in AI infrastructure, which surpasses current supply levels. He remarked that this agreement focuses on bolstering supply chains to meet the immediate and future needs of the industry, showcasing an evolving landscape where advanced technology and collaboration go hand in hand.

Additionally, Hiroshi Lockheimer, Chief Product Officer at Alphabet, noted Foxconn's integral role in developing crucial technological innovations over the past decade. Their ongoing collaboration is a testament to Foxconn's ability to integrate advanced AI solutions into practical applications.

Investments in Future Technologies

In a significant commitment to furthering its technological capacity, Foxconn announced a $1.4 billion investment into a state-of-the-art supercomputing center, set to utilize 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. This facility aims to leverage NVIDIA's next-generation infrastructure, expected to roll out in the first half of 2026. Neo Yao, CEO of Foxconn's subsidiary Visionbay, outlined the project, discussing strategies to innovate AI factories, alongside NVIDIA's Vice President Alexis Bjorlin.

Their discourse covered the transformative nature of humanoid robots in smart manufacturing and the prospective role of quantum technologies in shaping artificial general intelligence (AGI).

Exhibitions at HHTD25

The event also featured a larger exhibition area showcasing over 200 products and technologies. One notable highlight was the debut of a modular AI-enabled container data center model integrated with GB300 AI infrastructure. This offering demonstrates Foxconn's unmatched turnkey solutions, streamlining manufacturing processes from Level 1 (L1) to Level 12 while emphasizing strong vertical integration abilities.

Moreover, Foxconn unveiled its latest electric vehicles, including the MODEL A, an intelligent, modular electric vehicle designed for diverse applications. Attendees were introduced to the innovative features of various models, including six distinct versions of the MODEL B, which showcased unique color schemes for crossover vehicles, along with the award-winning MODEL T electric bus, the mid-sized MODEL U, and others targeting specific market needs.

With the event taking place from November 21 to 22 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, it provided a platform for stakeholders to engage with new technologies and understand Foxconn's pivotal role in the future of tech and transportation.
