BOE Completes 'Light the Way Forward' Initiative

On October 31st, BOE Technology Group held a closing ceremony for its educational and charitable initiative known as "Light the Way Forward" at the Palace Museum in Beijing. This initiative, which has been instrumental in bolstering educational equity through technological innovation, has made significant strides over the last decade.

The project commenced with the establishment of 156 smart classrooms across ten provinces in China, positively impacting more than 70,000 teachers and students. A hallmark of this initiative is the "100 Traditional Culture Lectures" program launched in collaboration with the Palace Museum in 2023. This program utilized BOE’s advanced educational technology to bring quality traditional Chinese culture into the classrooms of more remote areas. Over a span of eighteen months, the program has reached nearly 40 schools, benefiting over 20,000 students in the process.

The "Light the Way Forward" initiative has evolved into a comprehensive, diverse, and sustainable charitable platform. It not only provides hardware support but also enriches the experience with engaging content. As one spokesperson from BOE stated, "We believe that technology isn't merely a cold tool; it is a powerful force that brings warmth."

As a leading figure in digital cultural innovation, BOE is committed to fostering a seamless integration of culture and technology through responsible practices. In recent years, the organization has collaborated with numerous cultural institutions, including the Palace Museum. This year, BOE contributed to the museum’s anniversary exhibition by co-developing the glasses-free 3D digital exhibition titled "Meet the Colors of the Palace Museum" and the digital exhibition hall for the Qianlong Garden. These projects underscore technology’s role as a bridge that conveys beauty and connects diverse cultures.

Looking to the future, BOE plans to continue promoting education through technology and culture as part of its sustainable development goals outlined in the "Open Next Earth" initiative. The company's ongoing efforts are aimed at paving the way for even more children to access quality education and cultural heritage, furthering its commitment to social responsibility.

In essence, BOE’s initiatives have significantly impacted educational access and cultural appreciation in China, making a substantial contribution to social equity and innovation. The integration of state-of-the-art technology with traditional education practices exemplifies BOE’s vision for a smarter, more equitable future in education.
