High-Resolution's Innovative Programming Class

On September 15, 2026, High-Resolution, a GPU cloud service provider based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, organized a special event in collaboration with Sakura Internet at the Kagawa Startup Festa 2025. The venue for this engaging children's programming class was the e-topia Kagawa facility located on the 4th floor of the Sunport Takamatsu Symbol Tower in Kagawa Prefecture. This event was designed to introduce children to the exciting world of programming and AI.

Throughout the two days, starting from September 14, the programming class captivated over 30 enthusiastic participants, generously engaging with both individual children and their families who attended together. The children had the opportunity to learn programming through the use of IchigoJam, a child-friendly computer. They utilized the BASIC programming language, empowering them to create various games. Kids were seen eagerly focusing on their work, showcasing creativity and excitement as they dived into the world of code.

A remarkable sight was observed as siblings shared knowledge, helping each other navigate the keyboard, fostering a collaborative environment filled with smiles and laughter. Many children, who initially struggled with keyboard operations, eventually began presenting their modified programs and ideas with pride. Their cheerful exclamations of "Look!" and "It’s like this!" filled the room, indicating their enjoyment and engagement in the learning process.

It is hoped that this event might spark an interest in programming and serve as a valuable stepping stone for children to embrace IT and AI technologies. High-Resolution is committed to promoting the development of young talent in AI by partnering with local communities.

Future Initiatives

High-Resolution has been at the forefront of GPU services since 2019, operating a data center in Shika Town, Ishikawa Prefecture. In 2024, they plan to inaugurate the first GPU data center dedicated to AI development in the Shikoku region, located in Takamatsu. By 2025, they aim to launch another GPU data center in a repurposed primary school in Genkai Town, Saga Prefecture, followed by a second facility in Ayagawa Town, Kagawa Prefecture in 2026. These local initiatives are part of High-Resolution's broader mission to contribute to regional revitalization and support the growth of generative AI.

In recognition of their excellence, High-Resolution received the NVIDIA Best CSP Partner of the Year award in June 2022 and was certified by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for their Cloud Program Supply Assurance Plan in April 2024.
