A Strategic Partnership for Educational Advancement
In a significant move to advance financial education in Vietnam, the Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV) and the Vantage Foundation have formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement was ceremoniously signed on December 16, 2025, at the BAV's headquarters in Hanoi, marking the start of a strategic partnership focused on educational initiatives that will be rolled out in 2026.
The signing ceremony saw the attendance of notable leaders and representatives from both organizations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh, acting president of BAV, and Mr. Adam Siew, vice president of business development for Vantage Foundation, were among the key figures present, underscoring the importance of this collaboration.
Collaborative Goals and Initiatives
The agreement establishes a framework for joint efforts in educational programming, resource mobilization, and communication strategies to enhance financial literacy and academic quality. During her opening address, Dr. Hoang Anh emphasized the Banking Academy's dedication to fostering international partnerships aimed at elevating practical relevance and quality in financial education.
Mr. Siew also highlighted the increasing importance of education in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. He noted that as technology, particularly artificial intelligence and data analytics, transforms financial decision-making, a strong educational foundation is vital for developing the talent needed in this new environment.
Planned Educational Programs
As part of the initial initiatives under this partnership, both institutions are gearing up for a one-day training program titled **
