UGREEN Unveils the High-Performance NASync DXP GT for Content Creators

UGREEN Launches NASync DXP GT

UGREEN has just introduced the NASync DXP GT, a cutting-edge series of Network-Attached Storage (NAS) solutions designed specifically for content creators, smart home enthusiasts, and individuals with fast-evolving storage requirements. This innovative product line aims to enhance user experience by providing speedy data transfers, impressive multitasking capabilities, and unwavering performance for private cloud systems at home.

The NASync DXP GT features two models: the DXP4800 GT and the DXP2800 GT. Each model caters to different storage needs while maintaining a consistent promise of speed, performance, and reliability. The DXP4800 GT, equipped with four bays, supports storage capacities of up to 144TB. It comes with dual 10 GbE connectivity and an integrated SD card slot for seamless data management. On the other hand, the DXP2800 GT, with its two-bay design, can handle up to 80TB.

Equipped with an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor, the DXP GT lineup operates effectively 24/7. This quad-core, eight-thread processor, clocked at 3.7 GHz, can manage simultaneous tasks such as file transfers, scheduled backups, video transcoding, Docker containers, and various other services without compromising system performance. Additionally, the system supports ECC memory with a separately purchased ECC RAM module to enhance long-term data integrity by detecting and correcting memory errors.

Enhanced Speed for Modern Needs

When it comes to speed, the NASync DXP GT offers up to two 10 GbE ports and a series of rapid USB ports. This ensures that content creators can mount the NAS as a local drive, allowing for quicker access to high-resolution resources like 4K and 8K footage without the hassle of duplicating files. The DXP4800 GT includes an integrated SD card slot, making it easier for photographers and creators to swiftly import and safeguard their visual works.

Smart home users will find that the NASync DXP GT can efficiently manage multiple applications such as Home Assistant, Plex, security cameras, and more, minimizing bandwidth usage. Moreover, UGREEN's new Surveillance Center app extends this functionality, offering support for mainstream protocols and enabling comprehensive management—ranging from camera access and storage to live viewing and system control.

Storage Flexibility

The DXP GT also excels in storage flexibility. It supports SATA, U.2, and M.2 drives (sold separately), allowing users to create tiered storage strategies for various tasks, whether for long-term archiving or high-frequency read/write workloads. UGREEN has meticulously designed the DXP GT to assist users in achieving the ideal balance between capacity, reliability, and speed.

Expanding the UGREEN NAS Ecosystem

The launch of NASync DXP GT signifies an important milestone in UGREEN's NAS product line development. The DH series targets essential everyday home storage solutions, while the DXP series is tailored for those who demand enhanced speed and performance. The iDX line introduces AI-driven local intelligence and a new generation of data management.

With continuous updates from UGREEN’s proprietary system UGREEN OS, their NAS ecosystem provides users with a clear pathway from entry-level smart storage to high-performance NAS systems as requirements evolve.

Pricing and Availability

The UGREEN NASync DXP4800 GT is now available with an MSRP of €659.99 / £589.99, whereas the DXP2800 GT retails for €509.99 / £459.99. Limited launch discounts of 10% are currently offered for both models via the official UGREEN NAS store and Amazon.
