RiverBeat Music Festival 2025
The annual RiverBeat Music Festival is set to return to the banks of the Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee, from May 2 to 4, 2025. This celebrated event, produced by Mempho Presents, has quickly become a cornerstone of the mid-South music scene, showcasing an impressive array of talent and celebrating the rich musical heritage of Memphis.
This year, fans are in for a treat as hip-hop icon
Missy Elliott, rock legends
The Killers, and the genre-bending
Anderson .Paak alongside his band,
The Free Nationals, take center stage. The lineup doesn’t stop there; additional performances by Benson Boone, Cage the Elephant, Khruangbin, Ludacris, Public Enemy, and several other renowned artists promise to create an unforgettable atmosphere.
At RiverBeat, music isn’t the only highlight; the festival truly immerses attendees in Memphis’s vibrant culture. Acknowledging the importance of local talent, the festival will feature returning acts like Lawrence "Boo" Mitchell and his
Royal Studios Blues Jam, which will include notable artists such as Bobby Rush and Duwayne Burside. Fans of hip-hop won’t want to miss the
Memphis Rap OGz, which celebrates the local rap scene with contributions from artists like La Chat and DJ Zirk. Additionally, the festival will continue its tradition of the
Sunday Gospel Celebration, featuring local gospel legends that enrich the spiritual fabric of the community.
Enhancements for 2025
Building upon the success of last year's event, RiverBeat 2025 is set to elevate the festival experience with significant enhancements. This year will see five stages, each equipped with state-of-the-art visual displays, breathtaking light shows, and immersive projections that will transform the riverfront into an enchanting entertainment haven.
Jeff Bransford, Festival Producer at Mempho Presents, expressed enthusiasm for this year's lineup and the festival's growth, stating, "RiverBeat is more than just a music festival – it embodies Memphis's incredible musical heritage and paves the way for its bright future. We look forward to a diverse lineup that spans blues, soul, rock, and hip-hop, solidifying Memphis's reputation as a premier destination for live music and cultural experiences."
The festival has been restructured for better access, boasting two main entry points: the newly optimized North Entrance—located at the heart of the action—and the Butler Street entrance, aimed at improving downtown accessibility and bolstering local businesses. Returning fan favorites will include an iconic Ferris wheel, diverse culinary selections from local vendors, family-friendly activities, and spectacular nightly fireworks.
Tickets for this exciting weekend are now available at a special three-day general admission rate of $199, with VIP options priced at $849, inclusive of all fees. Details regarding the daily lineup will be revealed in early February, along with single-day general admission and VIP ticket sales. For more information, visitors can check the official website
