LaSalle Investment Management Names Peter Sibilia as U.S. Transactions Leader

On March 2, 2026, LaSalle Investment Management announced the appointment of Peter Sibilia as the Head of U.S. Transactions. With an impressive career spanning over 25 years in various facets of real estate investment, Peter is set to lead the firm’s U.S. transactions platform from its New York office. Reporting to Richard Kleinman, the Chief Investment Officer for the Americas, Sibilia will play a critical role in enhancing LaSalle’s investment capabilities by collaborating closely with teams involved in portfolio management, asset management, research, and investor relations.

Before joining LaSalle, Sibilia was an influential player at Rithm Capital, where he served as the Managing Director and CEO of Adoor Residential. His leadership in this role was pivotal, overseeing investment strategy and portfolio performance for Adoor, a significant single-family rental initiative. Prior to that, his experience includes serving as Partner and Head of Investments at GreenBarn Investment Group, where he managed acquisitions and asset management for complex investment situations. Additionally, Peter spent over 15 years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, playing a crucial role in executing more than $10 billion in transactions across various strategies, including core, value-add, and opportunistic investments.

Richard Kleinman expressed confidence in Sibilia's appointment, emphasizing the depth of transactional experience and strategic insight he brings to the role, particularly as market activities begin to ramp up. Kleinman noted that Sibilia's leadership will enhance the firm’s ability to source, underwrite, and execute investment opportunities effectively.

The previous leader of the U.S. Transactions team, Pat Pelling, has transitioned into a new role as Portfolio Manager of LaSalle Property Fund, paving the way for Sibilia to bring his extensive skill set to his new position.

Peter Sibilia himself expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating that successful transactions hinge on insights, relationships, and disciplined execution—qualities he firmly believes LaSalle embodies. He looks forward to leveraging these strengths to further develop the U.S. transactions capabilities and improve investment performance.

LaSalle Investment Management, operating under the umbrella of JLL, is a highly regarded global real estate investment manager with an impressive portfolio. As of the third quarter of 2025, the firm was responsible for managing approximately $86.4 billion in assets across private and public real estate investments. LaSalle’s extensive clientele includes a diverse array of public and private pension funds, insurance firms, governments, and endowments, alongside individuals from all corners of the globe. This wide span of influence is complemented by an array of investment vehicles, including separate accounts and various types of funds.

Given the complexities and opportunities inherent within today's real estate market, Sibilia's appointment is timely. His background and expertise in navigating challenging investment landscapes position him well to help LaSalle expand its U.S. transactions capabilities, driving disciplined growth while ensuring robust performance for its clients. As the real estate sector continues to evolve, leaders like Peter will undoubtedly be at the forefront of successfully charting new paths forward for investment management, making strategic advancements that align with both client expectations and market dynamics.
