Exciting Upcycling Event by HATTRICK and Kubota Spears
On December 27, 2025, an engaging upcycling event will be held at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium in Tokyo. Organized by Valuence Japan in collaboration with the Kubota Spears Funabashi/Tokyo Bay rugby team, this initiative is set to coincide with the NTT Japan Rugby League One 2025-26 Division 1 Match against Tokyo Suntory Sungoliath.
This event represents a creative fusion of sports and sustainability, showcasing how previously used materials can be transformed into unique items. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop where they can create triangular coin cases using banners from the team’s first championship in the 2022-23 season, complete with players' autographs. This not only serves as a fun activity but also reinforces the importance of reusing materials to create something special that fans can cherish.
The workshop will allow participants to experience the rewarding process of upcycling firsthand. Not only will they learn how to turn old materials into treasures, but they will also gain insights into Kubota Spears' ongoing commitment to sustainability.
In addition to the workshop, a limited number of upcycled tote bags made from the same banners will be available for purchase. These totes will not only be a practical accessory but also a statement of support for environmentally friendly initiatives.
