Sermatec Unveils Comprehensive Energy Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026

Sermatec's Showcase at Intersolar Europe 2026

Sermatec has made a significant impact at the Intersolar Europe 2026 event by presenting its comprehensive portfolio of energy storage solutions and advanced energy management technologies. The company's commitment to facilitating the global energy transition is evident through its innovative hardware and integrated systems that have been designed for both commercial and industrial applications.

Complete Range of Energy Storage Solutions

During the exhibition, Sermatec highlighted its vertical integration capabilities, showcasing products ranging from key components to intelligent operation and maintenance systems. One of the star products was their liquid-cooled energy storage system, SERLATTICE, which boasts a massive 7.04 MWh capacity and an industry-leading energy density of 477 kWh/m². This innovation significantly reduces the physical footprint required for energy storage while achieving an impressive round-trip efficiency (RTE) of ≥ 95% on the DC side, ensuring outstanding energy conversion performance.

Furthermore, Sermatec displayed the SERLATTICE system with a capacity of 6.26 MWh, featuring an integrated AC/DC architecture that enhances the overall system efficiency by 2%. Designed for parallel configurations of up to four units, this system incorporates smart thermal management technology that cuts auxiliary energy consumption by 25%, substantially lowering lifecycle energy costs.

For commercial and industrial clients, the all-in-one energy storage cabinet, EASYCUBE, with its 261 kWh capability, was also a focal point. This plug-and-play solution allows for flexible parallel expansion, enabling efficient trading between peak and off-peak demands, alongside renewable energy integration and improved energy resilience.

Intelligent Energy Management Enhancing Operational Value

Beyond hardware innovations, Sermatec introduced its intelligent digital energy management ecosystem. The Nebulos platform seamlessly integrates hardware and software, facilitating end-user participation in electricity trading and the aggregation of virtual power plants (VPP) to maximize asset value. Complementing this platform is the MOFS early warning system, which predicts thermal overflow with a 2-3 hour lead time, significantly enhancing battery safety by proactively preventing risks.

At the exhibition, Sermatec also presented several internally developed components, including a 430 kW liquid-cooled PCS, a 104-chain active balancing Battery Management Unit (BMU), and the Battery Cluster Controller (BCC), showcasing the company’s comprehensive in-house integration capabilities.

Proven Performance Across Diverse Global Applications

Demonstrating reliability in various environmental conditions remains a core focus for Sermatec's energy storage systems. From continental Europe to Mediterranean climates, the company continues to validate its technology through an expanding portfolio of international projects. In Bulgaria, for instance, Sermatec's energy storage project optimizes return on investment by participating in coordinated electric spot markets and ancillary services. This has proven to deliver strong economic performance and rapid grid responsiveness.

In Croatia and the Czech Republic, the company's storage solutions effectively address low winter temperatures and industrial load fluctuations, ensuring continuous electricity supply for critical manufacturing operations. Meanwhile, projects in Spain have successfully navigated high humidity and coastal salt concentrations, validating the long-term reliability of Sermatec's advanced protection designs and smart thermal management technologies.

Localized Service Providing Long-term Value for Customers

Sermatec asserts that localized service is not merely the last step in client relationships but a cornerstone of long-term competitiveness. By leveraging their established service network across Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, the company offers comprehensive support throughout the product lifecycle within a singular responsible service framework that includes extended warranties, performance guarantees, preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and operational reporting. This service model equips customers with transparent lifecycle costs, predictable financial performance, and reliable long-term operational support.

Strengthening European Collaboration at Partner Night

On June 24, Sermatec held its Annual Partner Night, bringing together key stakeholders from the European energy sector. This engaging event featured speeches from executives, product presentations, solution exchanges, and discussions on post-sales service, creating an open platform for sector dialogue on innovations in energy storage and emerging regional opportunities, while also strengthening long-term strategic partnerships.

Driving the Future of Intelligent Energy

With continued technological innovation, diversification of applications, localized services, and ecosystem development, Sermatec provided a comprehensive demonstration of its integrated capabilities at Intersolar Europe 2026. Moving forward, Sermatec aims to realize its vision of becoming a leading player in intelligent energy by collaborating with global partners to advance the transition towards a smarter, sustainable, and carbon-neutral energy future.
