This significant move follows a thorough search process aimed at ensuring CAE's financial leadership aligns with its strategic objectives and operational excellence.

In his new role, Ryan will oversee CAE's global finance organization, driving key financial operations and initiatives that are crucial for the company’s ongoing growth. Matthew Bromberg, President and CEO of CAE, expressed enthusiasm about McLeod’s appointment, highlighting his impressive background in financial leadership within high-growth environments. Having guided a major public company through transformative periods, McLeod is well-equipped to take CAE forward in its mission of safety and operational excellence.

McLeod’s extensive experience includes serving as CFO of ATS Corporation, a prominent automation solutions provider. During his tenure, he successfully expanded the company’s revenue from $1.4 billion to about $3.0 billion while also managing margin improvements. His astute leadership facilitated ATS Corporation's IPO and directed multiple strategic acquisitions across key global markets. This history of driving financial strategy and significant operational improvements makes him a perfect fit for leading CAE’s finance team at a pivotal time in the company’s evolution.

Ryan McLeod brings nearly two decades of experience in finance leadership, having previously held significant roles at ATS Corporation and CIBC Mellon, as well as serving with Ernst & Young LLP. His educational background includes a designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
