Huawei Introduces Fintelligent AI Solution for the Finance Sector

During the Huawei Connect 2026 event held in Shanghai, Huawei made significant strides in the financial sector by launching its new Fintelligent AI Solution at the Global Finance Summit. The keynote address, delivered by Jason Cao, the CEO of Huawei's Digital Finance Business Unit, emphasized the essential role of AI in transforming the operations of financial institutions. The central theme of the summit was encapsulated in the phrase: "Own Your AI, Own Your Intelligence."

The Fintelligent AI Solution is designed to address the critical challenges that financial organizations face when deploying AI on a large scale. These include crucial issues of security, scalability, and sustainability. The solution aims to equip financial institutions with a robust capability system, enabling them to evolve their AI architecture efficiently through three innovative factories: Agent Factory, Token Factory, and Data-Knowledge Factory.

Cao highlighted the shift in competition within the financial AI landscape, stating that it's moving from merely enhancing model capabilities to fostering comprehensive enterprise-wide AI systems. He urged every financial institution to own its AI technology, advocating for independence in choosing, operating securely, scaling, and evolving AI capabilities. This independence is not just about utilizing an AI model or implementing software; it reflects the need for financial entities to control their AI developments throughout their lifecycle.

The Agent Factory allows banks to scale AI capabilities enterprise-wide while managing agents effectively. Meanwhile, the Token Factory focuses on providing a sustainable full-lifecycle token management solution. Lastly, the Data-Knowledge Factory works to convert raw data and operational guidelines into knowledge that enhances decision-making capabilities within financial institutions.

Central to Huawei’s commitment to making advanced AI accessible to financial institutions is the open-source agent platform openJiuwen, crafted for seamless multi-agent collaboration. This platform boasts institutional-grade reliability and fosters a collaborative environment that supports critical financial functions. It effectively facilitates stable operations, comprehensive development, and operational management for enterprises.

In addition to these advancements, Huawei introduced TokeNexus, a full-lifecycle token operations solution designed to streamline token planning, production, and global optimization. This comprehensive governance framework aims to help institutions maintain performance and cost-effectiveness while scaling AI applications.

The summit also witnessed the launch of the Financial Agentic Data Solution, which is focused on improving the flow of high-quality data and intelligence to financial agents. This initiative is part of Huawei's ongoing effort to transform how banks manage data, documents, and rules into actionable intelligence, providing a pathway for knowledge to be utilized effectively within financial services.

Moreover, Huawei's AI Coding Solution emphasizes an ontology-centric method to repurpose valuable business rules embedded in legacy systems into reusable assets. This focus underlines the company’s broader commitment to accelerating transformation and modernization within the core banking operations.

As part of the event, representatives from various sectors within the financial industry were also present to unveil the 2026 Huawei Global Financial Lighthouse, showcasing nine exemplary practices that serve as case studies for digital and intelligent transformation within the global financial landscape.

With over 16 years of experience in the financial sector, Huawei has established itself as a key partner for over 7,100 financial clients in more than 80 regions worldwide, including partnerships with 54 of the top 100 banks globally. This latest initiative marks a significant advancement in Huawei's dedication to supporting the global financial sector through technology-driven solutions.
