PMB and Abrazo Health Unveil Arizona's Innovative Healthcare Facility in Goodyear

PMB and Abrazo Health Celebrate a Milestone in Goodyear

On January 30, 2026, PMB, a prominent player in the healthcare real estate development sector, in conjunction with Abrazo Health and local dignitaries, celebrated the grand opening of the Abrazo Health Litchfield Medical Building. This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant advancement in healthcare service delivery for the Goodyear community, combining both outpatient medical services and inpatient rehabilitation under one roof.

A New Era of Healthcare in Goodyear

Situated conveniently in the Palm Valley Shopping Center at 1355 N Litchfield Road, the new medical building stands out not only for its size—spanning an impressive 46,000 square feet—but also for its innovative design. It embodies Goodyear's first facility that merges medical offices with inpatient rehabilitation services. Its strategic location adjacent to other vital medical services and retail amenities, coupled with proximity to the I-10 freeway, ensures that access to healthcare has never been easier for local residents.

Hans Driessnack, the CEO of Abrazo West, emphasized the commitment of Abrazo Health to enhance accessibility to high-quality care for the communities they serve. According to Driessnack, the new Abrazo Inpatient Rehab Facility will significantly streamline the pathway for patients transitioning from acute care hospitals to further stages in their recovery.

Comprehensive Services Offered

This new health center is designed to meet a broad spectrum of healthcare needs. It boasts 24 inpatient rehabilitation beds and offers various advanced medical services, including internal medicine, cardiology, and care provided by hospitalists. Patients recovering from an array of conditions—such as strokes, brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, and trauma—will benefit from comprehensive rehabilitation programs that promote healing and recovery.

Jake Dinnen, Executive Vice President of Development at PMB, shared insight into the collaborative effort that led to this project's realization. He stated, "This facility represents what's possible when committed partners come together around a shared vision for better healthcare. Built specifically to meet the needs of the West Valley of Phoenix, it is more than a building—it's a place of healing, recovery, and hope. By assembling outpatient care and inpatient rehabilitation in a purpose-built environment, we are delivering an innovative building that prioritizes patients and families."

Partnerships and Collaboration

The newly constructed facility operates at full efficacy, being 100% leased to healthcare providers. Key tenants include a 27,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation center managed by Abrazo Health, the 5,000-square-foot Medcure, the 7,500-square-foot Arizona Desert ENT Specialists, and the Abrazo Medical Group Brain and Spine team occupying 6,500 square feet of medical space.

This multifaceted project came to life thanks to the efforts of several partners, including the Devenney Group serving as the architect, Haydon as the general contractor, and PMB Real Estate Services managing the property. Financing was provided by Siemens, showcasing a collaborative community effort that brings together diverse expertise and resources to serve the public.
