Refreshing Evenings: Kisarazu Running Club Unites Staff and Customers at Mitsui Outlet Park
On November 13, 2025, Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu will present the 4th edition of the 'Kisarazu Running Club', an initiative designed to showcase the charm of the facility to both customers and employees. This event is organized by Mitsui Real Estate Commercial Management, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Participants can catch highlights of the event on a special website.
What is the Kisarazu Running Club?
The 'Kisarazu Running Club' allows shop staff from various brands to run together throughout the outlet park after business hours. Launched on October 25, 2024, this unique event provides a sense of community while promoting physical wellness. The upcoming 4th event will additionally feature a special yoga session hosted by lululemon, adding a refreshing new element to the experience.
The motivation behind this initiative is driven by employees at Mitsui Outlet Park's Operations Center. They aim to enhance Employee Satisfaction (ES) by fostering unity among staff. The goal is to communicate the appeal of different brands through their employees, while also highlighting the pleasant shopping atmosphere during evening hours. Furthermore, the event aims to attract new customers and support recruitment efforts for the individual stores.
To encourage more employees to partake, the organization arranged for local culinary delight 'Fuurindou' to provide a food truck service, offering delicious meat buns and pudding after the running and yoga programs. Collaborative efforts with local sponsors enabled approximately 70 participants, including shop staff, to join in the activities, reinforcing community bonds.
A special site showcasing the charm of the Kisarazu Running Club, featuring exciting videos from past events, is currently available. Don’t forget to check out the event reports from the previous installments!
