SERMATEC Strengthens Its Market Position in Europe with a Successful SHOWCASE at KEY 2025 and a New 200 MWh Contract in Poland

SERMATEC: Pioneering Energy Solutions and Expanding in Europe

SERMATEC, a global leader in energy storage solutions, has made significant strides in reinforcing its presence across Europe. Recently, the company attended KEY - The Energy Transition Expo 2025 in Rimini, Italy, where it unveiled cutting-edge energy management systems tailored for commercial, industrial, and public utility applications. This showcase not only highlighted SERMATEC's innovations but also solidified its market position by engaging crucial stakeholders and potential partners in the energy sector.

During the expo, SERMATEC presented its state-of-the-art liquid-cooled energy storage systems from the EasyCube series, featuring capacities of 215 kWh and 372 kWh. These systems are engineered to cater to hybrid photovoltaic and storage applications, especially within the Italian market. The EasyCube 215 kWh, specifically designed with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) capabilities, allows for seamless scalability with direct PV-DC connections, facilitating easy integration into existing setups. In addition, the 372 kWh system boasts a battery pack with fire protection features, complemented by an IP55 rated cabinet, which boosts its durability against harsh environmental conditions.

A remarkable achievement for SERMATEC was the receipt of certifications for the EasyCube 215 kWh system, confirming its compliance with Italy's low-voltage grid connection standards, CEI 0-21, and medium and high voltage guidelines, CEI 0-16. These certifications underscore the system's adherence to local regulations, paving the way for its broader acceptance in the market.

In tandem with its success at the expo, SERMATEC has broadened its outreach in Central and Eastern Europe by signing a monumental agreement with a leading Polish developer for the acquisition of energy storage systems totaling 200 MWh. Scheduled for delivery starting in May 2025, this initiative underscores SERMATEC’s commitment to supporting Poland's energy transition and decarbonization efforts. Traditionally reliant on coal, Poland is evolving into a crucial market for energy storage solutions, driven by increasing renewable energy adoption and regulatory advancements.

Leveraging its global supply chain alongside local service capabilities ensures SERMATEC's competitive edge. The company’s European headquarters in Frankfurt, coupled with its manufacturing facility in Spain, enables streamlined deliveries and tailored after-sales support to meet the regional market's requirements.

Looking ahead, SERMATEC is poised to further its collaborations in the global market by participating in a series of upcoming events, including Solar Storage Live Africa (March 25-27), Solar Storage Live London (April 2-3), and Intersolar Europe (May 7-9). These engagements will continue to reinforce SERMATEC's commitment to advancing energy transformation on an international scale.

SERMATEC stands as a global manufacturer of high-technical-performance energy storage systems that provides game-changing solutions for commercial and public utility applications. With operations in over 30 countries, SERMATEC delivers sustainable and intelligent energy solutions that drive worldwide progress towards a carbon-neutral future.
