Zentiva's 2025 Sustainability Report: A Look into Progress and Commitment
Zentiva has recently unveiled its
Sustainability Report for 2025, marking yet another step forward in promoting public health, environmental management, and responsible business practices. This year, the company demonstrated that business growth and environmental responsibility can indeed go hand in hand. Notably, Zentiva achieved a
10% reduction in emissions across all its operations (Scope 1 and 2 emissions) while simultaneously increasing its net sales and EBITDA.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has validated both short-term and long-term objectives for Zentiva, including a remarkable
63% reduction in emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 by 2034, with the ambitious goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
Key achievements for 2025:
- - 83% of the electricity consumed by Zentiva now comes from renewable sources, with a full 100% in its manufacturing plants located within the EU.
- - The volume of recycled and reused water nearly doubled from 2021 to 2025.
- - 47% of waste was diverted from disposal, either reused, recycled, or otherwise repurposed.
- - As part of its biodiversity projects and commitment to corporate citizenship, over 130,000 trees were planted to support reforestation and 3.5 million bees were adopted.
