Citadel Credit Union to Open Its Third Branch in Hunting Park by 2027

In a move designed to enhance community engagement and financial accessibility, Citadel Credit Union has announced its plans to open a new branch in the Hunting Park neighborhood of Philadelphia by 2027. This development marks the institution's third location in the city, following its recent releases in Overbrook Park and Cedar Park.

This latest branch is the result of a partnership with Esperanza, one of the largest Hispanic nonprofit organizations in the United States, which owns the building where the branch will be established. Located at 133 W. Hunting Park Ave., the new site represents Citadel's ongoing commitment to community-centered banking, focusing on long-term neighborhood relations and providing essential financial services to local residents.

A Commitment to Community

The branch is designed to serve not just as a banking facility but also as a community resource center where residents and small businesses can access comprehensive financial services. According to Bill Brown, the president and CEO of Citadel Credit Union, the focus is on integrating deeply into the community rather than just operating out of it.
