Beckman Foundation Highlights 2025 Scholars Program
In a significant move to bolster scientific research in the United States, the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation has unveiled its 2025 class of Beckman Scholars Program awardees. On January 28, 2025, the foundation announced that a total of 14 institutions will benefit from over $2.1 million in funding. This funding will facilitate 84 undergraduate Beckman Scholars across various colleges and universities, each of which will be paired with dedicated mentors. The selection process was rigorous, involving a detailed two-part review conducted by a panel of scientific experts.
The awarded institutions span a diverse range of locations and academic specialties. They include prestigious names such as Barnard College, California State University, San Marcos, and Vanderbilt University, among others. The Beckman Scholars Program is structured to last three years, with two students selected each year from each institution.
