During her tenure at Mitsubishi Corporation, she was instrumental in launching and expanding the company’s lithium-ion battery businesses. Additionally, she contributed significantly to various projects tied to the environmental and energy sectors, exemplifying her expertise in developing hydrogen supply chains.

Most recently, Ms. Usami served as the Hydrogen Commercial Lead at bp Japan, where she successfully drove the commercialization of low-carbon ammonia and hydrogen businesses in the Japanese market. Her deep knowledge of Japan's energy policies and vast network spanning both public and private sectors positions her uniquely to spearhead TeraWatt's growth initiatives.
