PSI Services Awarded IRS Contract for Enrolled Agent Exam Program

In a significant development for tax professionals, PSI Services (PSI) has been chosen by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to manage the Enrolled Agent Special Enrollment Examination (EA-SEE). This partnership is aimed at upholding high standards of competency and integrity for federally credentialed tax professionals who represent taxpayers.

Commencing May 2026, PSI will undertake the comprehensive tasks associated with the EA-SEE program. Their responsibilities will include the scheduling of exam appointments, the development and maintenance of exam content, secure test delivery, candidate support, data handling, and reporting exam results. Additionally, from July 2026, candidates will benefit from the convenience of PSI’s extensive network of secure test centers across the U.S., as well as the option of remote online proctoring for candidates both domestically and internationally.
