On October 11, the 'Eki Iku' project will return with its second installment, held at Wakabadai Station and surrounding facilities on the Keio Sagamihara Line. The event, which was launched successfully in July, aims to provide an enriching experience for children, while giving parents the freedom to enjoy personal time.

The Concept of 'Eki Iku'


'Eki Iku' is an innovative childcare service operated by Asuiku in cooperation with railway companies. It focuses on experiential learning, allowing children to engage with actual railway systems and technologies while under the care of trained childcare professionals. During the event, children aged four to six will have the chance to participate in fun, hands-on activities that will enrich their understanding of railways and offer a memorable experience.

What to Expect


The upcoming event promises a variety of activities:
  • - Announcement Simulation: Children will get to use real broadcasting equipment to make announcements, fostering a sense of responsibility and excitement.
  • - Train Cleaning Observation: Kids will witness the process of train cleaning from inside a train, offering insights into the workings of railway maintenance.
  • - Interactive Experiences: Participation in hands-on activities, such as using a magic hand to pick up lost items, which can stimulate curiosity and learning.
