Innovative Fabric Signage LUFAS Debuts at Tottori Okayama New Bridge Building

Introduction

The LUFAS fabric signage, manufactured and sold by Tonichi Printing Co., Ltd., has made its debut at the Tottori Okayama New Bridge Building. This landmark installation marks the first time LUFAS technology has been used in an antenna shop environment, showcasing the scalable possibilities of eco-friendly signage.

Background of Implementation

The management of the Tottori Okayama New Bridge Building sought to enhance the visibility of their second-floor retail space. With heavy foot traffic in the area, they recognized the need for eye-catching decoration that would attract visitors’ attention. Thus, they selected LUFAS to adorn eight large glass panels on the building's facade. Utilizing the expansive surface area, the dynamic visuals offered by LUFAS significantly enhance the shop’s external appeal, enticing passersby to explore what’s inside.

Key Factors for Adoption

Several elements played a crucial role in the decision to implement LUFAS signage. Firstly, the patented tension structure provides flawlessly smooth finishes, combined with impressive environmental performance. The adaptability of solutions presented for specific site challenges also contributed greatly. Initially, management considered an internally illuminated frame; however, a structural limitation emerged during site evaluation. In response, the team proposed a blend of a non-illuminated frame with tape, ensuring visibility without traditional lighting.
Furthermore, the use of eco-mark certified recycled materials and efforts to reduce CO2 emissions displayed Tonichi's commitment to sustainability, making it more likely for the public facility to adopt these measures.

Feedback and Future Outlook

Since the installation, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with reports of increased visitor numbers attributed to the impactful presentation of the LUFAS signage. The beauty of the LUFAS setup has also met with high levels of satisfaction from the management. Notably, LUFAS demonstrates flexibility in customization, adapting to structural realities while maintaining an eco-friendly focus. Looking ahead, Tonichi aims to continue aligning its product offerings with customer needs and challenges, ensuring innovative solutions in the field of signage.
