New Mini-MBA Program Launched by Abilitie, TED and St. Edward's University

Elevate Your Career with a New 12-Week Mini-MBA

Abilitie, TED, and St. Edward's University have announced an exciting collaboration, introducing a global 12-week Mini-MBA program designed for working professionals who aspire to enhance their business acumen without pausing their careers. This fully virtual program culminates in an engaging weekend event hosted at a global business hub.

Originally launched in 2019 as the Invited MBA, this innovative program marries selected TED content with immersive business simulations and live discussions led by distinguished instructors. Participants will gain valuable insights and certification through St. Edward's University, enriching their professional profile significantly.

The significance of this program is underscored by the startling fact that over 80% of managers worldwide lack formal business education. This prevalent gap poses challenges for organizations aiming to nurture effective leadership channels in the competitive global market. As a result, shorter MBA programs like the Mini-MBA are becoming increasingly popular, equipping future leaders with the necessary business savvy and people management abilities.

Bjorn Billhardt, CEO of Abilitie, emphasizes a crucial aspect of modern leadership: “Tomorrow's leaders need more than just knowledge; they require practical business judgment.” The 12-week course is structured to facilitate active engagement and sharpen essential financial, strategic, and leadership skills through live, interactive sessions three days per week, complemented by team-based simulations that mirror real-world leadership challenges. The curriculum empowers participants to decode business finances, think strategically, manage resources, and make informed decisions in dynamic and complex business environments.

St. Edward's University, known for its commitment to high academic standards, expresses pride in participating in this groundbreaking initiative. Marianne Ward-Peradoza, the university’s vice president, stated, “Today's professionals need flexible, high-impact skill development opportunities. This program exemplifies our dedication to creating pathways that empower them to stay competitive.”

To maintain an interactive and personalized learning experience, enrollment for each segment of the Mini-MBA will be capped at 40 participants, with a total of 200 seats for the entire cohort. The program will conclude with in-person sessions in major cities such as Berlin and Dubai, with tuition covering accommodation and meals during the weekend events. The cost to enroll in the upcoming Fall 2026 cohort is $4,500, and several scholarships are available. Interested candidates can find more details and apply at 12weekmba.com.

Moreover, the Mini-MBA can be tailored for companies looking to enhance their employees' skills through private cohorts.
