Major Milestones of 2024

Industry Recognition

One of the most significant highlights of this year was our continuous recognition within the industry. For the fourth consecutive year, SDI Presence has earned a spot on CRN's prestigious MSP 500 list, showcasing our unwavering dedication to providing innovative IT solutions that empower our clients. Additionally, we are proud to maintain our status as a Top Workplace per the Chicago Tribune for seven years running, a testament to our vibrant company culture.

Moreover, we received the esteemed Supplier of the Year award in Class IV from both the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council (CMSDC) and the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). These accolades underline our commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and exceptional client service.

Launching Xchange Chicago

In an exciting development, 2024 marked the launch of Xchange, a pioneering onshore IT delivery initiative in collaboration with P33 Chicago, the Comer Foundation, and Chicago’s Southside. This initiative aims to widen economic opportunities within underinvested neighborhoods by promoting technology careers. With significant backing from notable clients such as WEC Energy Group, Northern Trust, and Oak Street Health, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Proudly, we’ve already created 26 family-sustaining tech jobs, with aspirations for more in the coming year.

Strengthening Our Community Presence

Continuing our commitment to the Grand Crossing community, SDI Presence has signed a lease to become the anchor tenant in a new 28,000-square-foot facility at Xchange Chicago. Scheduled to open in the summer of 2025, this location is envisioned to be the first of many such sites aimed at harnessing untapped talent in our communities throughout Chicago. SDI's strategic investment reflects our goal to foster innovation and create opportunities in the areas we serve.

Supporting Minority Businesses

Being a growing Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), SDI recognizes the importance of mentoring and supporting fellow MBE firms. This year, we proudly achieved our goal of $100 million in spending with diverse suppliers, further solidifying our mission to expand economic opportunities within our supply chain and beyond. Through initiatives like Chicago United’s Five Forward program, we strengthen our network and pave a path for other minority entrepreneurs.

Record Growth and Expansion

Thanks to the trust of our customers and the relentless efforts of our team, 2024 has been a record-breaking year in various aspects. From the number of projects delivered to rising customer satisfaction scores, we have effectively expanded our footprint in domains like data, cloud, and AI, positioning ourselves for successful growth moving into 2025.
