Matsuya Foods Unveils Exciting 'Map Feature'
In a bid to enhance the dining experience, Matsuya Foods, headquartered in Musashino, Tokyo, has announced its collaboration with USEN, a part of the USEN & U-NEXT GROUP, to introduce a new 'Map Feature' for the popular song request service, "Oshi Requests" (推し活リクエスト). This feature, effective from March 16, 2026, allows diners to enjoy their favorite songs while savoring their meals at participating Matsuya locations across Japan.
Background and Objective
Matsuya Foods, known for its commitment to providing safety and comfort in dining, has always strived to be a beloved staple in diners' lives with the slogan,
"We aim to be everyone's dining table." With this new partnership, Matsuya seeks to add a unique value to mealtime, encouraging more customers to visit their outlets by combining culinary delights with the joy of music.
What is 'Oshi Requests'?
'Oshi Requests' is a free song request voting service that everyone can participate in. The service features a 'Real-Time Ranking' that reflects the most recent request results, along with segments such as 'Rising Stars'. Users can view the 'Daily', 'Weekly', and 'Monthly' ranking statuses through the ranking tab. Every Saturday, the rankings from the 'Oshi Requests' channel are updated and distributed to Matsuya outlets, excluding a few locations.
Service Overview
With the newly introduced 'Map Feature,' customers can explore an array of enjoyable experiences:
1.
Dine While Listening:
Using the map, customers can find Matsuya locations where they can listen to their requested songs while enjoying their meals. Diners can indulge in their favorite beef bowls or set meals while grooving to tracks that have ranked high in the 'Weekly' charts.
2.
Request While You Eat:
By searching for 'requestable stores' on the map and accessing them from within Matsuya, customers can not only make their regular requests but also cast additional votes—up to 24 extra votes for each request (capped at a maximum of three requests or 72 votes per day). This unique opportunity allows patrons to both enjoy a great meal and support their favorite music!
