Eastern International Ltd. Secures Significant Photovoltaic Power Project Contract Worth RMB 42.5 Million
In a notable expansion of its operations, Eastern International Ltd. (NASDAQ: ELOG) has successfully entered into its first photovoltaic power generation construction contract, valued at approximately RMB 42.5 million (around US$ 6.04 million). The contract was signed with the Weifang Branch of the CSCEC Southwest Architecture Design Institute (Shandong) Design Consulting Co., Ltd., for the Hebei Laiyuan 300 MW Centralized Photovoltaic Power Generation Project. Under this agreement, Guizhou Tianrun Zhicheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastern International, will undertake the construction of Phase I of the project, which encompasses a 50 MW capacity.
As part of this contract, Guizhou Tianrun's responsibilities include essential groundwork and installation tasks. This encompasses the installation of photovoltaic mounting structures, photovoltaic modules, module string wiring, and the assembly of photovoltaic combiner boxes, as well as supplying various auxiliary materials necessary for construction. The project is scheduled to initiate before the end of 2025, marking an important milestone for the company’s involvement in renewable energy.
Lin Tan, the Chief Operating Officer of Eastern International, expressed enthusiasm about this venture, stating, "The commencement of the Company's first photovoltaic power generation project marks substantial progress in our business expansion within the new energy sector."
