ZYT Reveals Ambitious European Strategy at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich

ZYT Unveils European Strategy at IAA Mobility 2025

On September 8, 2025, ZYT (ZHUOYU Technology) made a significant mark at the IAA Mobility 2025 held in Munich, Germany. This event marked the company’s formal entrance into the European market, where it showcased its strategic plans aimed at establishing a strong presence within this pivotal automotive region.

A New Branch in Germany

Positioning itself to accelerate localization efforts, ZYT has launched its German subsidiary in Braunschweig, a city recognized for its concentration of automotive expertise and industry players. Nils Oldemeyer has been appointed to lead this European branch, focusing on setting up a multi-functional team dedicated to research and development, testing, and business development. This team aims to quickly respond to the intricacies of the European automotive landscape, ensuring that ZYT's offerings meet local market demands effectively.

Collaborating with European Automakers

With its newly operational branch, ZYT is keen on deepening partnerships with leading European automotive manufacturers. The company aims to address the rising demand for budget-friendly intelligent driving solutions from both European Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Chinese automotive companies seeking to expand their presence in Europe. ZYT plans to roll out a variety of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies over time, including solutions that range from Level 2 driver assistance to Level 4 autonomy. Moreover, the company emphasizes the importance of redundant safety architectures to comply with stringent European Union regulations.

ZYT also intends to introduce smart cockpit solutions and state-of-the-art perception modules to the European market. The introduction of next-gen technologies such as LiDAR-camera fusion systems will further enhance ZYT's extensive product portfolio.

Innovative Technology Showcase

At the IAA event, ZYT set up four distinct exhibition zones that highlighted its groundbreaking integrated hardware-software solutions. Notably, the Sensor Zone featured the innovative automotive-grade LiDAR-vision integrated sensing solution, "Jimu 2.0". This pioneering technology achieves remarkable synchronization between LiDAR and cameras using advanced algorithms. The company also showcased its ultra-wide-angle LiDAR, "ZHIZHOU," designed explicitly to tackle blind spot challenges in automotive applications.

The Domain Controller Zone introduced a flagship offering based on NVIDIA’s DRIVE AGX Thor chip, which is engineered for rapid responses to complex scenarios in less than a second. Additionally, ZYT's integrated cabin-driving controller developed in partnership with Qualcomm made its first appearance in Europe, showcasing its dual-function capability, which improves efficiency and reduces costs significantly.

A unique exhibit within ZYT’s showcase was an in-vehicle drone system, which demonstrated advanced capabilities such as autonomous takeoff and landing, further illustrating ZYT's commitment to innovation.

Collaboration with Volkswagen

ZYT's significance at IAA was amplified through its collaboration with Volkswagen. The company highlighted the improved assisted driving system IQ.Pilot, which recently passed the rigorous A-SPICE CL2 audit, positioning ZYT as a critical partner in the enhancement of intelligent driving systems for Volkswagen's MQB fuel platform.

Future Prospects

Beyond showcasing its capabilities, ZYT's exhibition served as a platform for engaging with global partners to discuss the future of intelligent mobility. The Technical Talk session led by CTO MA Lu underlined ZYT's collaboration with industry giants such as Qualcomm and NVIDIA, emphasizing the company's progress in mass production of vehicles equipped with leading-edge driving innovations.

Looking into the future, ZYT is committed to intensifying partnerships to incorporate generative AI and large-scale models into its intelligent driving systems. This strategic move aims to expedite the transition from L2 to L4 autonomous technologies.

Interestingly, ZYT's Hongqi Tiangong 05 vehicle, powered by the Qualcomm intelligent driving platform, successfully navigated various driving scenarios across Munich, demonstrating the technology’s adaptability and maturity for global deployment.

In conclusion, adhering to its philosophy of “In Europe, for Europe,” ZYT is set to revolutionize the intelligent driving landscape through its self-developed technology and cooperative industry engagements. The unveiling of its European strategy at the IAA not only marks its establishment in a crucial region but also symbolizes a collaborative effort with global partners to foster a more innovative and integrated automotive ecosystem.
