Lachatone and Uka Collaborate for the 7th Charity Event to Support Rescue Cats

A Heartfelt Collaboration for Rescue Cats

In a beautiful display of compassion and friendship, the rescue cat support brand Lachatone and the popular nail brand Uka joined forces for their 7th annual charity event, held on December 22nd, also known as “Nyan Nyan Day.” This significant occasion saw participation from notable cat and dog lovers who gathered to support the cause and share their love for their furry companions.

Event Overview

The venue was filled with enthusiasm as 16 dedicated animal lovers arrived at La Calpe Salon in Shibuya’s bustling district of Tokyo. The event, organized by Lachatone's representative Miho Arai and Uka's representative Kiho Watanabe, focused on giving back to cats and dogs who unconditionally shower their owners with love.

For Lachatone, founded in 2016 by Miho Arai, this event represents a milestone, marking their commitment to philanthropy through donations to rescue cats. Since 2018, a portion of the membership fees has been redirected to support various animal shelters, with this year’s donations going to Hotel Suneco, a safe haven for cats awaiting adoption.

Memorable Moments

Attendees indulged in a special lunch prepared by Ukafe while listening to renowned editor Yoshifumi Aoki, who spoke passionately about the theme of good fortune for 2026. Guests took notes eagerly, and there were many joyful moments as they shared slides of their beloved cats and dogs.

During the event, Miho Arai and Kiho Watanabe highlighted their shared dedication to animal welfare. Both are proud cat lovers who understand the necessity of giving back to the animals that positively influence their lives. This joint celebration was not only a display of fundraising efforts but also a chance to connect over a mutual love for pets and share future aspirations for a compassionate society.
