Renovation of Arita City Cleaning Facility

On October 15, 2025, Watering Engineering Co., a subsidiary of the Watering Group, entered into a contract with Arita City in Wakayama Prefecture for the renovation of a critical waste processing facility known as the Arita City Cleaning Center.

Background and Importance of the Project

The Arita City Cleaning Center plays a crucial role in the region, managing sewage treatment which is essential for public health and environmental hygiene. The facility has been operational for about 60 years. Despite regular maintenance to ensure its functionality, the overall aging of the facility has necessitated a comprehensive overhaul.

In light of fluctuating demand due to changing social conditions, the enhancement of the current facility has become imperative to ensure continued and stable sewage processing. The renovation will utilize part of the existing site to establish new infrastructure.
