E-lounge Gakugei Daigaku, set to open on October 1, 2026, will provide a modern coworking space and study area designed specifically for adults and high school students in Meguro, Tokyo. Operated by Eikou Co., a subsidiary of the Z-kai Group, E-lounge aims to create "a workplace that enhances thinking." This latest addition follows the success of their inaugural location, E-lounge Kumegawa, which opened in December 2024.

Flexible Plans Tailored to Varied Needs

Recognizing diverse lifestyles and preferences, E-lounge Gakugei Daigaku offers a variety of membership plans:

• - Full-time Membership: Priced at ¥19,800 monthly (tax included) and available every day from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, catering to those who need an uninterrupted work environment.
• - Day Work Membership: Available for ¥14,850 monthly, this plan suits telecommuters and freelancers, allowing access on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• - After 6 & Weekend Membership: For those looking to study or enhance their skills after work or during weekends, this plan also costs ¥14,850 monthly.
• - High School Student Membership: Priced similarly at ¥14,850, it provides dedicated study time from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• - Drop-in Membership: Ideal for casual users, this plan allows payment of ¥165 for every 10 minutes (tax included) throughout the day, accommodating brief visits during work breaks or while waiting for children.

Additionally, from September 19 through 30, there will be a free pre-opening campaign, offering anyone the chance to experience the facility at no cost.

E-lounge Gakugei Daigaku focuses on creating a conducive environment for both casual and serious work. It features two distinct zones:

Active Zone

This area encourages creativity and has spaces for refreshment, online meetings, and social interactions. Options range from counters and café tables to private booths to accommodate varying comfort levels and privacy concerns. It includes elements promoting well-being, such as soothing music, aromatic diffusers, and well-lit interiors.

Silent Zone

In contrast, the Silent Zone emphasizes focused study without distractions or sounds, perfect for deep concentration required during exams or significant projects. Free earplugs will be available to help maintain an undisturbed atmosphere.

Meeting Rooms

Additionally, there are meeting rooms equipped for up to four people, available for an extra cost of ¥110 for every 10 minutes. These rooms are fitted with monitors, webcams, speakers, and microphones to facilitate effective communication.

Additional Amenities

E-lounge Gakugei Daigaku also offers various complimentary services such as Wi-Fi, drinks (coffee, tea, cocoa), and light snacks (e.g., ramune, biscuits). Equipment like monitors, headsets, quiet keyboards, and stationery are available for free rental, further enhancing the workspace's appeal.

The facility is located at 2-19-17 Takaban, 5th floor of Gakugei University 2 Chome, and will operate from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily, although hours may vary by membership type.
