Kazushige Kuboki's Profile


Kazushige represented Japan at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics in the omnium event. He achieved sixth place in both the madison and omnium disciplines in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Notably, he triumphed in the UCI Track World Championships scratch race, earning him the prestigious “Arco Iris,” an emblem of world-class achievement in cycling. In the same year, he secured the second highest placement in Japan's elite men's history during the omnium event.

Hailing from Fukushima Prefecture, he competes in various formats including keirin, track, and road cycling as a member of TEAM UKYO. As the senior member of Japan's track cycling national team, Kazushige leads younger talents while simultaneously pursuing extraordinary opportunities on the global stage.
