Grounds Collaborates with HELL BLAU to Launch Unique Shoes

Unique Collaboration: Grounds and HELL BLAU

Grounds, a brand known for its innovative footwear, is excited to announce its collaboration with the fashion brand HELL BLAU, founded by the talented artist ano. This partnership has produced a pair of special shoes that draw inspiration from firsthand experience and an artistic vision.

The Artist Behind HELL BLAU

ano has gained immense popularity, especially among young women. She began her solo music career in September 2020 and made her major debut in April 2022 under Toy's Factory. Her song “Chuu, Tayuusei” was selected as the ending theme for the hit anime 'Chainsaw Man' in October that same year. In December 2023, she plans to release her first album 'NekoNekoTutu', followed by her second album 'BONE BORN BOMB' in March 2025. ano recently held her first solo concert at the legendary Budokan on September 3 and launched her fashion brand HELL BLAU the very next day.

What is HELL BLAU?

The essence of HELL BLAU emerges from a sincere desire to create clothes that resonate with one's inner self. The line embodies ano’s signature humor and individuality. The theme of the latest collection is 'school', inspired by ano's own experiences of disliking the school environment. This unique approach leads to the creation of items that playfully challenge the conventional aesthetics associated with educational institutions.

Introducing the MOOPIE x HELL BLAU Shoes

The MOOPIE x HELL BLAU collaboration shoe serves as a reflection of this creative ethos. ano wishes for the wearer to stride forward with confidence, stepping on negative experiences and embracing a positive mindset.

“I hope those who get these shoes can overcome their dislikes and venture out with a buoyant attitude.”

These shoes feature a sole in HELL BLAU's signature light blue color, mixed with ano's favorite shades of blue and gray. The playful design showcases a hand-painted effect while the outsole brings a whimsical touch reminiscent of stepping on gum. The aesthetic retains a classic 'indoors shoe' feel while transforming it into a streetwear staple.

A Fusion of Functionality and Style

Despite their indoor shoe appearance, these products have been engineered for outdoor use. The upper is treated with water-repellent material to resist dirt and moisture. Additionally, the insoles are crafted in dark gray to minimize visible stains, making them both functional and fashionable.
