Since January 2022, they have been celebrating the talent and contributions of their columnists through a quarterly event known as the 'Writer Awards.' The awards are held quarterly, specifically in January, April, July, and October.

2. Method

Columns published in the three months leading up to the awards month are evaluated across three categories:

• - Gangan Award: This accolade honors writers who exhibit extraordinary dedication and who have contributed significantly beyond their normal duties during the award period.
• - Best Column Award: This recognition goes to the column that garners the most views and audience engagement, determined by the page views recorded within two weeks of the column’s publication.
• - Spportunity Award: This award is granted to the column that best embodies Spportunity’s ethos—highlighting the voices of those often overlooked in sports and inspiring readers through the lens of perseverance.
