Health-E Commerce and Rex MD Unite to Enhance Men's Telehealth Access for Erectile Dysfunction
Health-E Commerce and Rex MD Collaboration
In an industry where sensitivity can hinder access to care, Health-E Commerce® has launched an innovative collaboration with Rex MD®, aiming to enhance men's health services available through FSA Store® and HSA Store®. This initiative directly addresses a pressing issue: many men suffer from erectile dysfunction but hesitate to seek necessary treatment.
According to recent statistics, 37% of American men have grappled with sexual health problems at some point. Alarmingly, only 40% of these individuals have pursued professional medical assistance.
This new partnership is set to provide millions of men enrolled in flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA) with seamless access to telehealth services, making healthcare more achievable and less stigmatized. Keri Kaiser, chief revenue officer at Health-E Commerce, highlighted that multiple barriers often deter men from seeking assistance for sexual health issues, with common factors including time constraints, difficulties in attaining appointments, financial burdens, and social stigma.
The new alliance aims to remove these obstacles, allowing those who may otherwise prioritize avoidance to proactively manage their sexual health. Rex MD is recognized for its telemedicine expertise, offering confidential and convenient consultations tailored to men's health needs. The process begins with an online questionnaire designed to assure privacy, reviewed by a healthcare provider affiliated with Rex MD. After a clinical analysis, a personalized treatment plan is prescribed if needed.
Among the substantial benefits of this collaboration, first-time customers accessing Rex MD through the FSA and HSA stores can enjoy an impressive 95% discount on erectile dysfunction medications during their initial treatment plan. This incentive encourages men to engage with healthcare services that could significantly enhance both their physical and mental wellness.
Nicholas Alvarez, co-founder of LifeMD, which owns Rex MD, emphasized the effective strides the telehealth company has made in helping over 500,000 men since its inception in 2019.
