Sapporo Holdings, the parent company of Sapporo Beer, is excited to announce the grand reopening of its flagship experience bar, Sapporo Black Label THE BAR, on July 5, 2025. This venue has become synonymous with 'the best moment to enjoy beer is the first one of the day' and aims to provide visitors with the ideal setting to kick off their beer experience year-round. Since its inception in 2019 in Ginza, the bar has celebrated its 6th anniversary this July and has seen a significant increase in visitor numbers, boasting a record growth of approximately 20% compared to the previous year.

What’s New in the Renovation?



The latest enhancements at Sapporo Black Label THE BAR focus on delivering a holistic brand experience that immerses customers in the world of Sapporo Black Label. This renovation introduces several engaging elements, including:

  • - CLUB ZONE: A special drinking area that features a retail section selling exclusive merchandise from the Sapporo Black Label THE SHOP online store, along with visual content showcasing the brand's narrative.
  • - Original Draft Towers: Featuring unique designs made from Date Crown Stone, each draft tower has a distinct look, symbolizing the diverse personalities that Sapporo Black Label embraces.
  • - Message Wall: Inspired by the TV commercial 'Adult Elevator', this interactive wall projects dialogues related to the brand's identity.

For those who appreciate the finer points of a beer, the latest innovation — the Perfect Changer 3.0 — has been introduced to enhance foam quality. This state-of-the-art server features a redesigned foam hole that helps maintain a creamy texture, extending the enjoyable taste of the first sip. Additionally, the Frosty Mist Light transforms into a coaster format, allowing patrons to visually perceive the refreshing foam that encapsulates each beer, thereby elevating their experience of freshness.

  • - Operating Hours: Monday to Saturday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM (Last Order 9:30 PM), Sundays and Holidays from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM (Last Order 8:30 PM).
  • - Closed: Year-end holidays and the third Tuesday in February.
  • - Location: B1F GINZA PLACE, 5-8-1 Ginza, Chuo City, Tokyo.
  • - Special Notice: The bar will be temporarily closed from July 1 to July 4, 2025, for the renovations and the My Glass program will be discontinued.
