The cake promises a refreshing aroma, tartness, and juicy flavor reminiscent of the fruit itself, all delivered with the signature melt-in-your-mouth experience of Maison Cacao’s creations.

MAISON CAKE Lemon: A Citrus Celebration

MAISON CAKE Lemon (priced at 3,456 yen including tax) features rare, domestically-sourced lemons from Setoda Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, known for their quality. The cake is a refreshing delight, showcasing a concentrated flavor from both the zest and juice of the lemons, elevated by Maison Cacao’s unique technique that incorporates cacao vinegar. This process emphasizes the refreshing tartness while balancing it with a mellow fruitiness.

This year's cake benefits from a re-evaluation of the balance of the zest, known for its strong aroma, allowing for a more pronounced lemon flavor. The batter, enhanced with almond powder, is baked slowly at low temperatures to achieve a moist, crumbly texture.
