This limited-time offer will elevate the sushi from black wagyu to the renowned Omi beef, one of Japan's top three wagyu varieties, all at the same price of 799 yen (including tax, 878 yen).

The Appeal of Omi Beef

Omi beef is celebrated alongside Matsusaka and Kobe beef in Japan's legendary trio of wagyu. Hailing from Shiga Prefecture, this brand of beef boasts a rich history of over 400 years. Omi beef is characterized by its intricate marbling, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and a subtly sweet fat that enhances its savory profile. Mirai-Zaka’s presentation of this exquisite beef as seared sushi promises to showcase its flavors in a delightful and accessible way.

A New Phase of the Life Support Campaign

This sushi upgrade is part of the second phase of Mirai-Zaka’s “Life Support Campaign,” which started in April. The first phase, running from April 1 to April 24, included a reservation deal extending drink service by 30 minutes for dining parties. Feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with banquet sales up 110% compared to last year for the first half of April.

Inspiration for the second phase comes from a desire to treat those adapting to new life circumstances. The campaigns aim to bring the enjoyment and flavors of Mirai-Zaka closer to patrons as a small reward amid their daily efforts.

The upgrade promotion for the Omi beef sushi will run from April 22 through May 20, 2025, or until supplies last. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the unique flavors of premium-grade beef without spending more.
