This exciting collaboration between Kuramure, led by General Manager Naohito Tsuchida, and Hokkaido Wine, overseen by President Kohiro Shimamura, aims to showcase the beauty of Japanese wine culture alongside the rich culinary heritage of the region.

During this limited-time event, attendees will indulge in a specially crafted lunch box designed by Kuramure’s head chef, paired with award-winning selections from Hokkaido Wine. This initiative not only aims to attract wine enthusiasts but also to engage the local community, encouraging them to explore new ways to enjoy the exquisite flavors of the Asarigawa area during the breathtaking autumn foliage season.

Unique Pairings and Exclusive Experiences



The lunch will feature dishes highlighting seasonal ingredients, such as the exquisite "O-Tate" scallops from Otaru, fresh mackerel, and the locally sourced "Hakkaku" fish. These dishes are elegantly presented in a specially prepared lunch box, designed to allow guests to savor the unique contributions of the autumn harvest. The culinary team carefully selects ingredients that best represent the seasonal bounty of Otaru, making this dining experience truly special.

For an exceptional toast, guests will enjoy the sparkling wine, "Traditional Method Hokkaido Type C," which received a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025 and achieved the highest score for a Japanese sparkling wine.
