Elemeno Health Welcomes Tim Coulter as CEO
In a strategic move aimed at accelerating its growth trajectory, Elemeno Health has appointed Tim Coulter as its new Chief Executive Officer. Known for its innovative just-in-time microlearning solutions for frontline healthcare staff, the company is poised for a new chapter under Coulter's leadership.
Tim Coulter comes to Elemeno Health with an impressive background, boasting more than twenty years of experience in health technology and enterprise software. His extensive leadership experience is expected to play a crucial role in positioning Elemeno for rapid growth and sustained innovation. He takes over the CEO position from Arup Roy-Burman, MD, one of Elemeno's co-founders, who remains with the company as Chief Strategy and Medical Officer, spearheading its clinical vision and innovations.
Dr. Roy-Burman expressed his enthusiasm for Coulter's appointment, describing him as a powerhouse leader with a wealth of digital health expertise. "Tim's proven track record of scaling operations and building exceptional teams makes him the ideal candidate to lead Elemeno into this exciting new phase. We are energized about the future with Tim at the helm," he stated.
Before his tenure at Elemeno Health, Coulter held various senior leadership positions in notable digital health and SaaS companies. Most recently, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Dina Care for nearly nine years, a period during which the company experienced substantial growth. Under his leadership, Dina Care was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Inc. 5000 list for two consecutive years and made it to Newsweek's list of the World's Best Digital Health Companies in 2024. Prior to that, Coulter spent nearly eight years as an executive at Medicity, where he was instrumental in expanding the company’s reach to over 100 health systems and 1,000 hospitals, culminating in Medicity's acquisition by Aetna in 2011.
Coulter's career is marked by a consistent delivery of measurable impacts across business operations and care delivery systems nationwide. He is renowned for his focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and improving patient care quality through innovation.
In his first statements following his appointment, Coulter conveyed his excitement about joining Elemeno Health during a transformative period. “The healthcare industry needs innovative, on-the-ground solutions now more than ever,” he shared. “By empowering frontline teams with real-time knowledge and support, we can ensure the delivery of safe, consistent, and high-quality care. I am committed to building on the solid foundation that Arup has established and collaborating closely with our clients, partners, and team members to reinforce Elemeno's position as a frontrunner in tech-enabled microlearning.”
Elemeno Health's unique cloud-based platform replaces traditional knowledge transfer methods, such as binders and emails, with customized, actionable job aids that frontline healthcare staff can access in real time. This innovative approach not only promotes best practices but also enhances operational efficiency and patient safety, making Elemeno an invaluable partner for healthcare providers across the nation.
Founded by clinicians in 2016, Elemeno Health operates as a Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to empowering frontline workers through just-in-time microlearning technology at the point of care. The platform, which complements existing LMS and training systems, promotes knowledge retention and allows for the standardized delivery of best practices across healthcare systems.
With its rapidly expanding presence across hospitals and health systems, Elemeno Health is geared to revolutionize frontline healthcare, delivering higher quality care at reduced costs.
