Announcing the 3rd Hitachi Film Festival

GENDA GiGO Entertainment, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is excited to announce the 3rd Hitachi Film Festival, which will take place on October 26, 2025, at Cinema Sunrise in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. This festival aims to promote local culture and discover new creators through a short film competition format. Following the successful first and second editions hosted by Previ Co., Ltd., we are now taking the initiative to elevate the festival further.

Festival Highlights

The theme for this year’s festival is “Things that Remain Unchanged.” It will feature a variety of programs, including:

• - Screenings of cinematic works from talented creators nationwide
• - Grand Prix decision through on-the-day judging
• - A talk event with special guest speakers
• - Screening of award-winning films from previous editions

This engaging experience is designed to foster community involvement and provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers.
