Starting June 1, 2026, Tagosaku will introduce a unique product that brings together the deep flavors of Uji Matcha with the beloved unagi (grilled eel). This limited-time offering, named the Uji Matcha Green Tea Unagi Okowa, promises to bring a refreshing twist to summer dining. Known for their inventive takes on traditional okowa, Tagosaku's latest creation marries the slightly bitter notes of Uji Matcha-infused “green tea okowa” with the rich, sweet savor of grilled unagi. This delightful combination is set to be a perfect summer dish, harmonizing beautifully with the special teriyaki sauce that dressing the eel.

Alongside this standout product, there will also be a mini set featuring the new Uji Matcha Green Tea Unagi Okowa and traditional red rice, called the Uji Matcha Green Tea Unagi Okowa with Mini Red Rice Inari.
