The
Nomura Kyogenza series is an essential event for the training and performance of the
Nomura family, with each show bringing a fresh perspective to traditional pieces. This time, the audience will be treated to four Kyogen performances:
Iroha,
Dobukachiri,
Urusashii, and
Mushrooms. Notably, two young performers who made their debuts last summer will take on
Iroha once more, illustrating their growth and dedication.
A significant highlight of this performance will be the rare piece
Urusashii, which Mansaku himself meticulously reviewed to ensure an authentic representation on stage. To make this event more accessible to newcomers, renowned actor
Mansai Nomura will provide thorough commentary at the beginning of the performances.
