Celebrate the 2025 Arakawa Line Day!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transport is thrilled to announce that it will host the '2025 Arakawa Line Day' event on Sunday, October 19, in honor of the special day recognized on October 1. This year's event is extra exciting as the Tokyu Corporation, which operates the Setagaya Line, will also participate alongside the popular mascot character 'Norurun'. The celebration will include a unique photo opportunity featuring the mascots from both the Toei and Tokyu transportation lines, named 'Toaran', 'Minkuru', and 'Norurun', which are available via a raffle system.
Moreover, attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including a vehicle photography session, a children's cab tour, and an exciting factory tour showcasing the maintenance work for the tram system. Participants will also enjoy displays of rail vehicles, including a fascinating glimpse at the operations of track maintenance vehicles and more. We warmly welcome everyone to join us for this lively event!
