SINEXCEL and Industry Partners Unveil Innovative Urban Power Ecosystem at SNEC 2025

SINEXCEL and Partners Launch Urban-Scale Virtual Power Plant Ecosystem Initiative at SNEC 2025

On June 20, 2025, during the SNEC 2025 event, SINEXCEL (300693.SZ) joined forces with prestigious industrial partners, including Schneider Electric, Enjoyelec, SZ GISCADA, Cunhui New Energy, and GOOD ENERGY, to unveil the Urban-Scale Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Ecosystem Initiative. This significant initiative aims to deepen the integration of smart energy grids, promote scenario-based innovations, set industrial standards, and create expansive urban ecosystems that enhance energy efficiency, intelligent consumption, and pave the way for a zero-emission future.

The collaborative effort marked a pivotal moment for SINEXCEL and its partners, who presented an advanced urban-scale virtual power plant solution alongside a smart energy management platform. Developed through joint efforts within the ecosystem, this solution showcases a comprehensive architecture connecting both software and hardware. By leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence, the platform serves as the central node for the entire energy chain—from generation and transmission to distribution, storage, and consumption. The previously invisible energy flows are transformed into measurable and optimizable information that can be effectively managed.

Building upon this foundation, SINEXCEL delivers next-generation virtual power plant solutions that tackle significant challenges faced by traditional VPP systems, including high costs, limited revenue sources, regulatory hurdles, and low management accuracy. Emphasizing the principles of “open aggregation and shared value,” the initiative integrates a diverse array of distributed energy resources, such as wind and solar power facilities, battery storage systems, microgrids, flexible appliances, and electric vehicle charging stations. These resources are coordinated on a single dispatch platform, enabling efficient participation in energy markets and demand management systems.

Since the establishment of the Smart Energy Research Institute, SINEXCEL has taken a leading role in fostering a collaborative and future-oriented innovation ecosystem. By adhering to values such as openness, co-creation, and shared talent development, the company continues to attract more partners keen on contributing to the shaping of a new energy future. Looking ahead, SINEXCEL is committed to advancing innovations in smart energy by enhancing collaboration within the ecosystem and accelerating the transition toward safe, efficient, and emissions-free urban energy systems.
